Load Control Program
The load control rate allows CMS to shut off your irrigation pump and sprinkler at times of peak demand in exchange for a lower rate per kWh. We strive to keep the interruption tmes to a minimum, and will continue to do so this year. However, as the price for electric power increases, it becomes more critical that we ensure that irrigation loads are not running during peak hours.
This year we will again be controlling in the months of June, July, August and September, with emphasis on July and August. We wil control on weekdays and strive to limit control times to around 2 hours per control day. We do not guarantee only 2 hours and some days may be longer.
